The Location

There’s something poetic about placing a booth at 100 Kellogg Lane, a landmark that turned a century-old cereal factory into Canada’s largest playground for food, culture, and community. It’s a space built on reinvention, and that arc mirrors our own. It was here that Emily won the Art Comp in 2023; putting a booth here feels full-circle, a quiet thank-you to the moment that made the dream of buying our first booth possible. Placing a booth here feels almost like placing a time capsule inside another one: an analog machine in a building that’s been rebuilt for the future, but hasn’t forgotten where it came from.

The Booth

Our London booth is one of the “Minnesota twins” - two Model 17s from Montreal that lived most of their life at the Minnesota State Fair, running for twelve chaotic days each year before being tucked into storage for the other 353. Previously running as colour booths, they were retired when paper and chemistry ran out, and for a few years, they sat in a dark storage unit it Minneapolis. Bringing them home was a comedy of logistics, but when the delivery truck finally lowered the booth onto Canadian soil it felt like we were returning something to where it always meant to be.
