I have some questions...
Find answers to some of our most commonly asked questions below. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, feel free to get in touch!
What makes your photobooth different from digital booths?
Our booths are fully analog and use real photographic chemistry. No filters, no digital copy, no reprints. Each strip is a one-of-a-kind physical keepsake.
How long does it take for the photos to develop?
About 3–5 minutes. The strip develops inside the booth and drops into the slot when finished.
What if my strip doesn’t come out or has an issue?
These are original vintage machines from as early as the 1960s - so sometimes their analog nature means they can be a little temperamental. If your strip doesn't come out or you have any other issues - please contact us straight away and we can issue you a refund or arrange a re-do!
Can I buy a booth from you?
Short answer: no, we don’t sell booths. These machines are our life’s work after years of visiting booths around the world and learning from master technicians. Each one feels like part of our family, and are not something we hand off lightly.
BUT if you’re serious (not just photobooth-curious), we can point you in the right direction. We know a small number of operators that sometimes sell, and we're happy to make introductions for the right buyer.
I have a photobooth to sell — do you buy them?
Absolutely. We purchase analog booths in any condition and are committed to fully restoring and refurbishing them. There will be no digital conversions here. Send photos and details, and we’ll make you an offer!
I went to one of your booths and it wasn't working?
While we monitor our booths very closely, sometimes repairs or maintenance take a little longer than anticipated. Follow us on Instagram for the most up to date information of when the booth is back up and running!
Are you working on new locations?
Yes! We'd love to hear from you about where we should place our next booth
Are any of your booths Colour?
Colour paper stopped production in 2005, so any colour strips since then have been stockpiled paper and old chemistry. There are a few operators that still have colour paper saved for pop-ups and special events...... So watch this space......
Do you rent out photobooths for special events or collaborations?
We're open to any events and any creative ideas, let's talk!
How much does it cost?
Price varies by location, so make sure to check our booths, but all of them are card only.
